Acessorize 70's Style

This trend is all about Hats, the Chelsea Boots, loafers and Platforms. Fabulous jewellery with feathers, dream catchers and the gorgeous mix of silver and turquoise. Things like fringing, suede and leathers are HUGE!! Lots of fur trims and ladies make faux is fabulous. Friendship bracelets have made a comeback and join agave stones and leaf designs. I used to make alot of jewellery like friendship bracelets and different things with seed beads when I was younger. Two Canadian girls moved to my small little town and brought all the great beads with them. While I was in my home town recently I went into the attic to see what still remained and I found what was left of my bead collection. Then while babysitting my uncles kids a couple of weeks later I came across a book of friendship bracelet designs which sparked off the interest again. Since then I have been making little bits at home for my trip this week. I'll put up photos soon of my creations.
Anyway here are my picks of the Accessories on the highstreet.

I have included all the usual pieces here for jewellery and accessories but something interesting and a little different that has emerged for this 70s trend is the ear cuff. It's really boho, hippyish and uber cute.

I'm absolutely loving those headpieces. I love the look of long flowing beach hair with the some feathers peeking out and the "boho tiara", so cute. What do you think of the 70's Trend Accessories? Is the Ear Cuff something you reckon you could rock?

With this particular trend the dressy and casual styles are so different that this is why i have decided to be doing 2 steal her styles. For the casual I have chosen one of my favourite outfits from the past year. It's casual, yet stylish. It's dressed down yet super cute. That effortless style that we all want to achieve so hopefully you will find this helpful you're you're everyday, effortless style.

Accessorize like a Man

When Accessorizing the Menswear trend it's best to keep it simple, Don't overdo it when it comes to jewels. Think about what a man wears. Chunky Linked Bracelet or watch, Possibly a necklace. Simple cuffs are great and a long chain necklace maybe with a tassle or something cute to feminise it slightly or if dressing down the trend with Boyfriend jeans or a boyfriend cardi wooden beads will look super cute, slightly eclectic and seriously stylish

The Watch is absolutely integral for this Trend. If you pick a watch that is chunky, linked and big like a Mans watch it will be strong enough to wear as your only accessory

With shoes think anything that looks masculine, simple clean lines in leather or a boat shoe style anything that you might also find in the men's section or your man's wardrobe. Loafers and brogues are great for this trend.

Bags would be the same in the sense of clean lines and masculine shapes. Boxy, sharp edged bags, Oversized Envelope Clutches, Cross Body Leather and satchels style bags fit nicely into Menswear.

It's not beyond the realms of possiblility to shop for accessorise within the mens section. Get yourself a thick mens belt or trilby hat  that you can team nicely withyour boyfriend jean and crisp white shirt. A pair of braces to tie to your peg leg trouser or skinny jean like Beyonce.

Team all these accessories together for a true fashionista style. Mens wear can be seriously rocked if done well and it can look amazing and very sexy for someone who might not want to be overtly sexy and flash too much skin. Throw a pair of Aviators or Ray Bans on and you're good to go. Ya'll enjoy.
What do people think. Is Menswear a style that will be seen alot by Irish Fashionistas this season?

Accessorize Boldly

When it comes to accessories especially handbags, shoes and sunglasses I always tend to think designer first. I am Christian Louboutin obsessed and dream about his art (shoes) on a very regular basis. Sad i know.

I believe that if you invest in the classic designer items and buy trends in the high street stores you can't go wrong. A good pair of shoes or a fabulous bag in a classic style can last a lifetime and i do really believe it is an investment. Vintage is the height of fashion right now and when my daughter is my age she will have all these amazing vintage designer pieces that are no longer in circulation. It's her inheritance :).
If I Could I WOULD!!
Unfortunately for many of us these days it is not realistic to be relying on classic designer pieces. I no longer trawl through net-a-porter or shopstyle on a daily basis as I'm only tormenting myself. Even the high street can at times seem unreachable.

When it comes to Bold Colour accessorizing I think it's best to keep it simple. Bold Colour isn't going to be in fashion every season however if you pick classic colour or classic design that will dress up any outfit and transcend seasons then you're on to a winner.

For those of you who aren't as extrovert as others Bold Colour Accessorizing can be your way to wear the trend without swaying too much from your natural style.
A bold Colour shoe with jeans and simple top or a bright handbag with your black suit for work can not only give you a boost but can also give a little pizazz to your outfit.
