Monday MUST HAVE

Big Glasses. Need I say any more. A fashionista staple piece. An item that every girl should have in their collection. Some are never seen without them, some rock them to hold back a bad hair day. Hater Blockers or Paparazzi Shields or even just a cover up for not wearing any makeup. I have to admit I am obsessed with big sunglasses. I wear them everywhere even during the winter. I'm not crazy, the light hurts my eyes. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. When it comes to the style stars it doesn't matter whether the go aviator or square, tortoiseshell, black or white, as long as the frame is big then it's all good.

 If there is any style stars that I could replicate their collections it's the Kardashians. I swear you rarely see these girls in the same glasses more than once. An impressive collection of every brand under the sun and all of which absolutely fabulous.

 Or Nicole Richie, a self confessed sunglasses buff. She told Teen Vogue that she owns has 200 pairs and is the proud owner of every pair of House of Harlow 1960 sunglasses she ever designed. Jealous much?

I am of the opinion that you should invest in at least one pair of really good sunglasses. I have a gorgeous pair of Chanels that I bought years ago and when my daughter was about 5 months old she knocked them off my head onto the kitchen tiles. I shed a tear I have to admit. I also own a gorgeous pair of Ralph Lauren Aviators which I adore. Making up the rest of my collection are an Accessorize large rimmed pair which I got for 7 euro in the sale last year and some River Island and H&M pairs. And I will say this now I way prefer the designer ones, not just because they're designer but because the fit, the don't slide off my nose or head and they don't pinch behind my ears. I really believe that sunglasses are an investment and if looked after well will stand the test of time.

 Do you die for those Amazing Balenciagas. I swear if ever a scratch card went my way some of these would be my first port of call. Check out Asos for a fab selection of both highstreet and high end sunglasses. Alot of what I've shown here can be purchased from Asos. The Victoria Beckham, Balenciaga and Chanel and aren't on Asos and generally have to be bought in store or places like Brown Thomas. You have to be very careful buying online for fear of copycats for these particular brands. House of Harlow 1960 can be bought from Singer 22.

On the Countdown

Everybody knows I love me so Kardashians so I'm super excited that the Countdown to the biggest celebrity wedding of the year has begun. The hotly anticipated wedding of Kim Kardashian and Chris Humphries.

I talked a little about their Engagement already and will most definitely be doing a full update on the wedding itself so why not cover the in between parts... The Bridal Shower and The Bachelorette Parties.


On the 23rd of July Kim's bridal shower was held in the back garden of Mom, Chris Jenner's House in Clababasas. Thrown by her closest friends and sisters and with a guest list that included Demi Lovato, Lindsay Lohan and Mel B and Ok Magazine invited along to capture all those precious moments.

Kim dressed in a gorgeous pink strapless Zuhair Murad dress, To Die For Christian Louboutin heels and stunning Lorraine Schwartz earrings, looked gorgeous as she greeted all her guests accompanied by groom to be Chris. "She was completely at ease and the happiest I've ever seen her," one guest tells Ok Magazine. "She was glowing and sweet, and a social butterfly."

Kim glowed in her fiance Kris' arms. "I'm very excited," Kris beams. "It's a great time in my life. I've found the one. " Adds Kim, "I've never felt so loved!" The beautiful couple open gifts together while Khloe keept guests entertained and Kourtney ensured that everything was running smoothly.

Younger sisters Kendall and Kylie organised a surpirse performance from band Mindless Behaviour and to top it all off Kardashian style the gourmet style cuisine was all catered for by celebrity chef and tv host a close friend of the family Rachael Ray.

"You thought the ring was big buty the smile on Kim's face was twice as big!" gushed another guest to OK!. "The glow of happiness shined twice as much as the sparkle on her ring."

"Kris' mom, Debra, is down to earth and fits right in with the Kardashains," says a pal. Kim posted on her website about the Ok shoot and said "I had the most amazing day with my family and friends and it was a day that I'll never forget."
I love that Chris was there on the day. It makes it that little bit more special when they can share their happiness. Kim looked amazing. I love her dress, so girly and pretty and completely in tune with the day. Not overtly sexy but still managing to look amazing. Her accessories are amazing, as always and there is nothing like Pre marital bliss to bring a glow that no makeup or fake tan can accomplish.

The couple and their entourage later all hotfooted it to Vegas in true Kardashian style on the Palazzo private Jets for the bachelorette party. Before any celebrations ensued Khloe dressed up for Kim in their hotel room,

then continuing the night with a dinner at the Tao's private dining  room where a special and surprise guest, Mighty Mike a dwarf Stripper entertained the party. The quieter of the 3 sisters Kim, was surrounded by the usual bachelorette party favours and her friends all out to embarrass her. The group toasted with Midori cocktails, the brand that Kim is the face of, and then the group all headed over to the Tao nightclub where they occupied a number of tables for the festivities.

Joined by a whole host of friends Kim partied it up in typical bachelorette fashion The usually refined Kim who had wanted a low key affair but was denied, will have plenty of embarrassing moments to look back on.

The happy couple who had separate bashes did however meet up at one stage during the time when Kim joined the bachelor party at Lavo for 10 minutes. Giving their audience what they wanted, a big smacker of a kiss.

With the nuptials set for the 20th August according to the invite which was released and it being reported that the cake is inspired by the Royal Wedding cake, 10 tiered white cake with chocolate chip icing and black white decorations And Kim herself confirming that she will be wearing Vera Wang on the day this wedding is going to rival every other celebrity out there. I for on can't wait until the 10th October for the E! Reality Show Special "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, which is said to debut on the Sunday with the second part airing on the Monday. I will be here with a group of friends having a party to celebrate. :)

The Kardashians are going from strength to strength at the moment following their Opi Kollection and their Kollection for Sears going on sale online on the 11th and in stores on the 25th, with a sneak peak 72 hour presale starting on Monday. Kim had her release of her special wedding limited edition fragrance "Love"

and also the world's first 3d cover with online magazine World's Most Beautiful.

Their novel "Dollhouse" is also on the way.

Their million dollar empire is growing and their celebrity becoming more valid. I will be having a look at the pre sale stock to see what it's like so stay tuned for an update.
