Florals Finale

Following my Everything's Rosy Post this is the finale for the Floral Trend. I've covered the Runways in Trend of the Week, Who's Wearing It, Highstreet Style, Accessories, The gorgeous girls from The Saturdays in Steal Her Style and ONE X5. I've rocked the Floral Trend and will continue to do so over the course of the Summer and even into Autumn Winter 2011 as Winter Florals have graced the catwalks and are set to be a strong trend for the coming seasons. Stay tuned once I'm done with the Spring Summer Trends and I will focus on Autumn Winter with a few little stops in between for anything that I feel might be of interest.

I've rocked Florals in a Boho Look, A fab Paisley Printed River Island Jacket with cute little ditsy print flowers. Have you rocked Florals yet?

Everything's Rosy

As part of my Florals Trend I have really wanted to share these pictures from Cosmo Uk. The Floral Fantasy pictorial "Everything's Rosy" was in the March 2011 issue of Cosmopolitain Uk Magazine and from the moment I laid eyes on it way back in FebruaryI was sure that I wanted to feature it here as a Blog post for those of you who may not have seen the mag or the pictures. There is something very Ethereal and just so stunningly beautiful, girly and innocent about the photos taken by Margaretha Olschewski. I am completely in awe of the genius behind the camera and of the gorgeous fashion by Sairey Stemp, the fashion editor of Cosmo Uk, which makes these models and the dresses they are wearing completely in tune with the surroundings. I am so inspired by this pictorial, everything from the sheer natural beauty of the models, Erin and Charlbi,  to the makeup and styling. With clothes from D&G (some more shown here), Monsoon, Jigsaw, Mulberry, River Island, Asos Salon, Guess by Marciano, H&M, Littlewoods and Paul & Joe and accessories from Cornelia James, Johnny loves Rosie and Johnathon Aston. I now want to go out and buy floral clothes, plant flowers in my garden and wear flowers in my hair. For your enjoyment....

Did anyone else see this Pictorial and find inspiration? Is there other Pictorials that have inspired you? I would love to know if there was something that stood out for you and remained in your mind as something special. What is your inspiration?

Steal Her Style

For Steal Her Style Florals I have decided to go with not one, not two but 5 gorgeous girlies. The Saturdays. The fabulous five are fast becoming style icons not just for teeny boppers but also for girls like myself who are wanting to emulate Styles Star's outfit choices but don't have the money to do so on many occasion. The girlband made up of Irish Cailin Una Healy and the other 4 beauties, Frankie Sandford, Rochelle Wiseman, Vanessa White and Mollie King are constantly being snapped with fabulous daily style but wearing outfits from achievable brands such as Lipsy, Topshop, Miss Selfridge, River Island and online hot spots like Asos, Missguided and OwntheRunway. So here are the outfits I've chosen. Trust me it was so hard to pick because these girls love their florals, everything they wear looks great and everything they wear sells out.

I love all of these outfits for different reasons but none more so than the fact they are totally achievable. Check this out
Frankie

Frankie is rocking this beautiful dress with a bag which I have searched and searched for but can't for the life of me find. Her shoes are topshop which are sold out, my alternatives are from River Island and her glasses are Rayban 3025 Aviators. Go to owntherunway for this gorgeous cream floral lace dress.

Mollie

Mollie is wearing another owntherunway find, the sleeveless floral blouse. She has teamed this with Mango tiny denim shorts which are available from Asos. Her sandals are Aldo but again are sold out but I've found a similar alternative. Her bag is Reiss but another sold out item, the one I picked is from Missguided.co.uk. The Glasses are the Ray Ban 3016

Una

Una is wearing this fab Lipsy playsuit which luckily is still available. She teamed it with a pair of gorgeous white heels with black trimming from River Island which are again no longer available but here's my alternative. She accessorized with these sunglasses from Day 22, the label Katie Price is involved with.

Vanessa

The gorgeous Vanessa is wearing a dress from Topshop which is not available but my choice from Forever 21 is, Sleeveless Levi Jacket (shown), French Connection Espadrille Wedges, which are on Sale now, even better. Alll accessoriezed with an Alexander Wang bag and Gucci sunglasses. A tad expensive again so my choices to Steal her Style are this bowler Marc B bag available from Topshop and these Asos Aviators.

Rochelle

Rochelle is wearing an Owntherunway jumpsuit, which comes in 3 colours and has teamed this with a Muubaa Leather Jacket, which is slightly expensive so I've opted for a more affordable one from Miss Selfridge. She is also rocking the Mulberry Bayswater Bag with what I think are her Jeffrey Campbell Tick Stud shoes, but I can't be sure, however my alternatives are from Missguided.co.uk for the shoes and the Mischa Barton line for the bag, available at Asos.
Do you like the Saturday's style. Have any of you ever bought anything from Missguided.co.uk or Owntherunway.com? It all looks so cute and I'm dying to put in an order.

Accessorize Florals

When it comes to accessorizing Florals you can literally take it any way you want. Due to the abundance of floral accessories you can go down this route by rocking a floral headband to match your ditsy print or a pair of ditsy printed girly rock chick Dr. Martens with a floral dress. Alternatively you can go down the demure and lady like route and accessorize your floral prints in your clothes in the Ethereal way. Pretty Prints and dainty jewels.
Whichever way is great and won't break any fashion don'ts. That being said, here are my picks of the Floral accessories available.

Aldo

All Asos

River Island except for top 3 on right, Miss Selfridge
Bags and hold alls are a great way to wear florals as accessories especially if your clothes are print free. It takes a little of the trend and they can brighten up any outfit.

Here are my picks which are available from the usual places.
