My second trend that I am going to talk about is
Mens Wear. This trend has been around forever and isn't going anywhere.

Every now and again it pops up and reveals itself in a whole new, modern and current way. It's all about clean cut lines, sharp fabrics and oversizing. Think your mans outfit on a sunday but for the whole week if your wanting it. Its Androgynous, it's crossing the lines between feminism and masculinity. Basically it's shopping both the mens section and the women's section in your favourite store. The trend has been very popular recently since a new and fabulous androgynous model, Adrej Pejic, emerged. Andrej a 19 year old Serbian Australian model has leaped in to the spotlight as the new "IT Boy". With Long, blonde hair and feminine features he is really what the menswear trend is all about, metro sexuality.

The runways from Paris to New York to London have all shown their fair share of this fashion trend for Spring 2011.

My Favourite from this strend is Helmut Lang's collection. The lines, the draping, the fabrics and the muted tones all scream femininity but the tailoring and the cuts are done with the precision of a men's collection. There is the perfect mix of workwear, casual wear and dresses to make this an all round versatile collection of pieces that can be mixed and matched and worn together or apart. Definitely one of my favourite collections of this season. Check out Helmut Lang's
website for his journal stlye of documenting his work.
So what do ya'll think of this trend? Will you be rocking your man's white shirt this summer?
