Monday 11 July 2011

We're officially in Summer, the weather is warmer and the feet are being bared so for this week's Monday MUST HAVE I am going to focus on The Tan Flat Sandal. Definitely a staple piece that should be in every woman's wardrobe. It's the go to sandal that matches pretty much everything. They look fab, they're ultra stylish and completely timeless which means that if you decide to invest, you will get your moneys worth. Think price per wear on this one. If you wear one pair of 200 Euro sandals 3 times a week for 4 months a year over the course of 5 years, that works out pretty much the same price as wearing a Penneys sandal for 6 weeks that you then have to dump. That's my justification anyway.
When the celebs aren't rocking the sky highs or the perfect Louboutins you can almost guarantee that 9 times out of 10 they're rocking the tan sandal.

So here are my picks for the the PERFECT Tan Leather Sandal.

Asos 12.82                                                        Asos 15.38

Pay Day:

Top Aldo £35, Middle Free People 54.55 Bottom Tkees $44

Some Day:

How gorgeous are those Tory Burch Sandals. J'adore. Completely in a state of LOVE, WANT, NEED!! The chances of me being able to afford these is very slim however I can get the Celebrity Style with these fabulous TKEES Sandals.

These are the celebrities choice but are totally affordable for the masses.

See above in the Pay Day section. TKEES call themselves "Cosmetics For Your Feet".

All the Sandals are placed into sections which are named after various types of cosmetics, for example these TKEES that I have featured in the Beachbum colour are in the Foundation Section, based on skin tones. They also have liners, highlighters, shadows, lipsticks, blushes, glosses, creams and polishes. Fab. I mean seriously, for somebody who loves cosmetics and is a makeup artist who just happens to be slightly obsessed with shoes, this for me is PERFECTION

I love, love, love this idea. It's super cute and they literally have ensured that they have covered every colour you should desire. Check them out on their website or some of my favourite online celebrity style sites Singer22 and Boutiquetoyou. I most definitely will be ordering a few pairs and doing some serious dreaming about those Tory Burch sandals. What do ya'll think? Have you already got you staple tan sandal? What do you think of TKEES? Does anyone have any?
