The Glamour Women of the Year Awards

Last night the Glamour Awards were held, you've probably all seen some of the photos already but I've put together some of my favourite looks for the night.
Newly Engaged Kim Kardashian, My Style Star for the night, looked freakin Amazing on the night dressed in a stunning Black curve hugging, strapless corseted Dolce & Gabbana gown and blinded all around her with her Lorraine Schwartz 20.5 Carat Diamond engagement rock, i mean ring. Kim, never to be out shined on the bling stakes teamed her engagement ring with a few other pieces from Lorraine Schwartz. Diamond, sapphire and lavender jade bangles adorned her arm and sat beautifully next to the diamond, sapphire and lavender jade rings that weighed down her fingers. All complemented with signature style Big Earrings, again Lavender Jade and Sapphire. Wouldn't mind some jewels like that myself. Kim who won the Glamour Award for Entrepreneur of the Year, tweeted a photo of herself on the way to the awards with the slogan "Lorraine Schwartz oughtta do! Its big ballin' baby"....at the Glamour Awards!". Sensational, seriously this girls is always on point. I think I would have gone a little softer with the hair but overall, CAN'T TOUCH THIS!!!

Some more of my favourite dresses above, the beautiful Fearne Cotton, winner of the Award for Radio Personality of the Year, in Mustardy/Yellow Miu Miu. I have to say I usually really don't like this colour but it suits Fearne really well and her hair looks so pretty. In centre an unusually ladylike Jessie J in Dolce & Gabbana, who took home the Award for Woman of Tomorrow. I think she looks amazing and would love to see her looking like this a little more often. She's always dressed in crazy outfits with ripped up tights or leggings and generally looking quite "in your face" so it was a nice change to see her looking truly beautiful. And on the right the gorgeous as always Katherine Jenkins in Victoria Beckham. The Stunning Opera Singer who is said to be quite a fan of VB's fitted tailored dresses, wowed in this Red with black detailing, floor length stunner. Very on trend might I add.

And some other stunners Louise Redknapp in a LBD by Antonio Berardi, Rachels Stevens in a leopard printed, one shoulder dress. This dress is on most peoples worst dressed list but I like it, I always have a thing for animal print. Her hair looks terrible though. Tess Daly in a floor length nude gown by Halston Heritage, which I love, love, love and the always sensationally unreal Rosie Huntington Whiteley in Stella McCartney, winner of the Editor's Special Award. It seriously should be illegal to be this freakin hotttt!! Tess and Rosie's dresses also so on Trend and completely relevant at the moment with my Ethereal Fashion Trend of the Week (which is granted taking a little longer than a week to get through, Sorry!)

And of course I can't leave out the Stunning girls from the Saturdays. The 5 beauties all wowed in very individual looks while taking away the award for Best Band. All of which I love for different reasons. Although Una, WOW!! That red is amazing on her and Frankie as always looks amazing. Jealous Much?!?!? Who's your style star for the night? Would you die for Kim's Bling?

  2. Hi hon, I have to admit I am a massive fan of all things Kardashian and have been since I caught the very episode of their show. I love their togetherness as a family, their business sense in Amazing and their style WOW!! I have a serious case of Kloset Envy. And those bodies. Would kill for curves as dangerous. ;) They love their curves and enhance them which is really a big step away from all the usual skinny celebs out there. Mae xx
