The Met Ball this year was kicking off the exhibit of Alexander McQueens Savage Beauty Collection at the Metropolitain Museum of Art Costume Institute, which is open to the public until July.
Titled "Savage Beauty", the exhibit is a retrospective of more than two decades of McQueen's work and will include pieces from his MA graduate collection from Central St Martins College of Art, couture pieces from his years as Givenchy's creative director, as well as pieces from his namesake collection up to his final one, which was shown posthumously in Paris just a few weeks after his suicide.
Pieces were taken from private collections, archives, and from the late Isabella Blow's personal collection, which was bought by Daphne Guinness.Would love to be in the position to check it out. Here are a few pictures taken from the exhibits catalogue

What do you think? Are you fans of Alexander McQueen. Would you give anything to go to the Met Ball? I have a few more posts to do on the Ball, Style Stars and Who did date night I also have this weeks Trend of the Week and I have a special post that quite personal, in a sense, ready to go up but unfortunately I also have exams next week so I'm trying to be good and get my head down to study but the fashion doesn't stop
